Reflexology Lymph Drainage is a reflexology technique for reducing secondary lymphoedema, especially after breast cancer. Lymphoedema is defined as a tissue swelling due to lymph node failure.

By working certain reflexes on the feet research has shown a positive trend that RLD may be useful in the management of secondary lymphoedema. Also early indications suggest that RLD may be useful in other conditions such as fibromyalgia, CFS/ME allergies, rheumatiod arthritis, pregnancy and premenstural fluid retention and other auto immune and anti inflammatory disorders.

I completed a workshop under the tutorage of Sally Kay who is a multi award winning reflexologist and published researcher, it was Sally who developed Reflexology Lymph Drainage from its first prinicples through to clinical practise, where she has attracted national and international awards and recognition.
